Avoid foods that can aggravate hot flash & night sweat symptoms:
- Sugar, salty foods, spicy foods
- Acidic foods (i.e. pickles and tomatoes)
- Hydrogenated oils and saturated fat (i.e. butter, margarine)
- Hot temperature drinks (i.e. hot tea, coffee)
- Alcohol (including hard liquor, wine and beer)
- Caffeinated foods and beverages
Get regular physical exercise:
