Massage Therapy With Nourishing Medicine

Elie Cole has been a licensed massage therapist since 2003.  While she no longer does one hour full body massages, she does add a bit of massage and bodywork into most acupuncture treatments, especially if the main issue is pain.

Styles of Massage Therapy Offered at Nourishing Medicine:

Tui Na Massage
A traditional Chinese healing system integrating acupressure and massage therapy. Excellent for chronic or acute musculoskeletal disorders like low back pain, TMJ syndrome, headaches, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Helps to relieve the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Patient remains fully clothed.

Swedish Massage
The most common type of massage. The practitioner uses long flowing strokes with oil to promote relaxation, increase circulation, and improve mobility. The patient undresses in private and is modestly draped with sheets.

If you are looking for a full body 60- or 90-minute massage, please see one of my colleagues at Cypress Beauty & Wellness.  You can schedule by calling 503.236.4654 or by going to the website to schedule online.
