Cultivating Nourishment through Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Therapy
Elie has been studying and practicing healing rituals for several years. Her teacher is called Sobonfu Some and she is from the West African country of Burkina Faso. Her name means Keeper of the Rituals and she was sent to the US and Europe by her elders to teach the healing rituals of her tribe. Elie trained with her for two years to learn how to facilitate healing rituals. She have since facilitated many rituals for both friends and clients.
Rituals can be done for many reasons: to connect with ancestors, to illuminate one’s purpose in life, to experience intimacy in partnership, to release grief, to resolve conflict, to ground someone who is disconnected from herself, to acknowledge a person’s gifts, to initiate a person, to welcome someone back from a traumatic experience, to foster communication, to celebrate, to mark a passage in someone’s life, and many more reasons.
Rituals are a major part of the indigenous person’s life, yet is lacking in our western cultures. Elie believes this is a major reason why we have so much depression, addiction, and sense of isolation in our society.
Healing Rituals can be done in nature or in one’s home. They can be done only with a facilitator (Elie) or with your whole community and anything in between. Please contact Elie to discuss healing ritual opportunities.
